I was surprised at how many I have that are clear too. My roo is all over his women!

QUESTION: My temps are at 98.8 - 99.5 Seems a bit low...should I worry or adjust? What is the consiquesnce if it stays low-ish?

Humidity is in the low 45% ish +/- 2% is this consistantly too high? What are the consiquesnces of tat long term?

Bumped up the Genesis to setting 5. Sitting pretty at 100.4. We'll see how it runs. I like that temp better... Thanks again for the help!!

***Update***

Big surprise...I candled tonight. I was shocked to see the little dark spot moving around

Tonight, I took out 6 clear ones and I had 2 quitters. One of the Sonew123 split lav. Silkies

Out of 43 I am down to 35. Still good I think.

Today is day 11.

I am recovering from the "I think I'd rather die" stomach flu.

I missed my day 10 candling.

Question - When does lockdown start specificly? Next Tuesday the 16th, is day 18. Does lockdown begin in the morning on Tuesday or evening on Monday? The only things I do differently are,
1) take eggs out of turner add to prepared egg cartons,
2)bump the humidity up put the plug in and do not open...right?

Anything else?

Did everyone leave me and go over to bid on BLRW just because my bator is full and I can not bid???

Anyway, candled tonight...I saw very full eggs and movements.

Oh course I have a question, Should I worry about the shipped eggs that have a very irregular air sac shape? My home eggs have a round air sac. the shipped egg sacs look a bit like wings or a bow tie with an oval on each side of the top.

Is this a problem?

How about the ones that are diagonal ovals?

My temp keeps creeping up from .5 to 1 degree. This is day 15. Is this because my eggs are starting to generate "body" heat of their own?
