Put regular AA batteries in my camera and took some pics of Zane today in the separation pen. You can see how great his color is and he's still very thin, but I think he's gained a few ounces.

Oh my word, look at that boy's comb. It is such a nice red color and his face isn't pale anymore either.

Thank God for your care for this sweet guy of yours!

If my store bought rooster doesn't fit in, then there may be hope for Zane's babies yet, eh?

I sure hope so, Ellie. It's one thing to walk, but another to mate and protect all these nutty women here. Hope he recovers fully so he can be a daddy again. His little daughter Panda is just adorable! She's Charlotte's baby, so she has a pea comb and is the cutest thing-I need pics of her, too.

He looks really good! I know he is on his hoocks but has he tried to get up on his feet at all?

Yes, he can half stand. One leg will work, but the other wont allow him to come to a full stand yet. He places one foot and pushes up, but the other isn't strong enough to do the rest yet. Believe me, it's much more than he could do before.
