Isn't it time to let this go and await the Court's decision on what should happen next?

The constant reference to and expression of opinions on race on this thread may be offending some people. It's certainly getting a little tedious and repetitious.

Prosecutors let a lot of crimes go because of lack of evidence. Even if he is tried for political reasons the appeals court will look over the trial and rule also if he appeals a conviction.

I am not sure how Zimmerman can actually get a fair trial I mean the president even commented on it and if he gets a good defense lawyer that will be a big contention in the pre-trial.

I agree. I dont think hes going to get a fair trial either..

I clicked on this because I"m closely related to the name "Zimmerman," and was curious...now what is this, a book or movie?

Proof that the jury pool is not completely tainted by the media coverage.

I'm not following the case too much, because as stated, it has already become a circus. I just find it amazing what the media does and does not cover. I had no idea about the boy allegedly attacking Zimmerman. That puts this incident in a whole new light for me. Now as to whether it is true or not, who knows. It does bother me how this boys death is being used as fuel to the fire of all those that feel they have been done wrong because of their race. I know race has been mentioned, and sorry for bringing it up again, but I get so sick of the race card being played.

I will be paying more attention to the case now. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

You think that racial comments, frequently repeated and embellished, are OK here? You think that people should see insults and put up with them?

I would not have been keeping up but it was a shooting outside the home by a CCW holder. That does not happen much. Me being a person that carrys a gun everywhere, I like to not only know the actual law but also like to know how it is applied by LEOs, DAs an even juries.
