Actually, I think it is a fair assessment to say that the black community cares...
How would it not be? Do you really think that the black community has no concerns about racial inequality? I never said they did. ALL Races have concerns about racial inequality.
Go to a african american college club meeting and see if they are concerned. I've actually been to several of these meetings and Racism is a part but not the huge issue it is being portrayed about
Go to a black church and ask them how they feel about racial injustice.Wouldn't this apply to any church not just "Black Churches". Racial injustice is a taboo subject for all nationality.
And actually, black is a perfectly acceptable term to most "african americans" by the way. Certainly all of my family members who are black, all use and prefer the term.
This is more of a regional things. In many regions it is not acceptable to use that term. And since this community is full of many regions some people may have been offended which is why I mentioned it.
You may be interested to know that many "native americans" also prefer to use the term "indian". Let me be clear, I said many, not all.
Yes I'm well aware that some chose to use the term Indian but that doesn't mean you have the right to use it on all Native Americans. Especially if they make a point to say it bothers them.
