Zodiac Hatch-A-Long - Waxing Moon in Fruitful Signs HAL

...
Here is the eggs I got from bamma and ravynfallen. Such beautiful eggs. They both pack their eggs very well. I'm in West Virginia. The eggs travelled from Alabama & Tenn none of the eggs even had a crack. The price is good and are very responsive to any questions I had. I would recommend anyone thinking about getting shipped eggs from them don't hesitate. I'm so eggsited to put them in the bator tomorrow(if I can hold off that long lol)

Very pretty.
Just in time for the ZHAL too.
If I had more space and time, I'd raise CCLs.
And Jaerhons and White Minorcas and Ayam Cemanis and Blue JGs and Cubalayas and Fayoumis and then go to the reed islands of lake Titicaca in the Peruvian highlands and bring back Quetros and, and, and.

Last night I sold a dozen of really dark eggs I had been collecting. I hope no one else wants to buy eggs before Sunday.

I have one question. My one chick started to zip one side of the egg and is now struggling to do the other side. Should I help zip the other side for the chick or no?

I wouldnt. I have helped 1 chick out of it's shell and it turned out to be a "special needs" bird.
My motto is "if it cant hatch I dont want it".

I only help if it appears to be a sticky chick due to humidity dropping out on me. Otherwise I do not help. Unless they're call ducks, then I have to hatch them or they don't hatch at all.

Agreed. For the most part, it's good to practice self-restraint. It can take hours for them to hatch and it's a tough process, but when you overlook that "initiation ceremony" sometimes problems occur.

If there was a known incubation problem, I sometimes assist because it wasn't natural circumstances. Out of three birds from different hatches I assisted, two were "special needs."
