Sadly yes. Last time he was in charge of them (3 days ago) while I was gone. I came home to find 1 headless chick and 2 who were eaten by a cat. Sad, right? Chief. I will measure it tomorrow. I have 2 RIR and 5 sexlinks.
Younger chickens, it just takes a while. My chickens are now crawling all over me and won't leave me alone. When I first got them they saw me and ran for there lives! lol, they will warm up to you.
Its normal. It takes chickens a while to get use to you. My 3 week olds are leaping all over me now. It took a couple of weeks though! Glad to see that your chickens are getting warmed up to the idea of having pet humans
Since I am like, construction incapable, my father is helping me build the coop. Last night he did the frame. It looks really nice. I thought I would have a normal coop. Not according to him. This whole area in the pics is going to be the whole coop. For 7 chickens, who are not going to free...
I hate BSL. I absolutly adore Pitbulls, which are the main target of BSL. Oh, if anyone doesn't know what that is it is Breed Specific Regislation, I didn't know what it was for the first 5 months I knew about it Anyway, I have been around Pitbulls all of my life, I have rescued pitbulls off...
Oh well, he is very prety, good markings and nice looking body. He looks a little long in the shoulders though. I show and raise Mini Rexes and some of mine have very bad places from some judges and very good ones from others. It mainly depends on the judges.

I am not too worried. My yard is surrounded by a 6 foot brick wall. Plus they are mainly on my covered porch.
Anyway, thanks guys. Again they are not attacking me, just other people.

I am thinking about maybe getting 2-3 rabbits. Maybe!!!! I know if we did there would be NO WAY we could keep them inside. Can you guys post pics of your rabbits outside in there hutches/homes? I don't know much about rabbits. Could I keep them in our barn with the chickens or...
Well, my chicks are over 3 weeks old now, they have complete run of my yard. They can get to the porch, back, front, and everywere pretty much. I am not sure if this is normal flock behaviour, especially for such youngings. I will just start. I spend about 2 hours a day with my flock/herd...
I don't own a hunting dog but I do train hunting dogs for my grandfather. He owns labradors but I honestly prefer pointers for hunting dogs. Pointers are fast, smart, and loyal. Labs are smart and loyal but there not always very fast. I have a poodle, she hunts squirrels if that counts
I would put a nesting box for her just in case. If she is pulling that much fur it looks like she is trying to make a nest. This happened to one of my does once. The babies were born dead but she had them 2 and a half months after there breeding!!!
