What a kind, caring son you have, Candace. You must be very proud of him!
I read about every 5 or 6 pages and am sure I missed a ton. Probably not a bad thing as I've been trying hard to avoid this thread. Way too much temptation over here!
I hope everyone is well.
I bought one from incubator warehouse and it calibrated perfectly on for temps and 3% low for the hygrometer, which is fine in my opinion. I just make the mental adjustment when reading it. Think it was less than $20 and has a probe on it. Love it.
WV, I so wish I could trade you for those silkie eggs and would in a heartbeat if I were not on forced hiatus. I was so bummed that I didn't hatch any last time. I was and still am just learning about hatching, so I don't think it was any fault of the eggs. Yes, save the silkies!
Wish I knew! I've had some of that happening here too. Not consistently, but some batches...
How do the air cells look at lockdown? I wonder if the humidity during the first 18 days might be a hair too low? Just a thought.. I hope you figure it out..
I am going to have to avoid this thread...
Good morning..
Congratulations, TNBEARCHICK!
Hatcher incubator temps are finally stable and eggs are in lockdown, some from Madam which look great so far. Thanks again for the advice.
Long shot here.. is there anyone who has me down for Spring eggs who could send some for the Easter...
