Ok, I can't post all the pictures from the poultry show on here but I wanted to share! I took about 200 pictures but narrowed it down some! I posted them on my facebook and made them available to be seen by anyone...take a look at all the pretty birds...

Oh...and some how these cute lil' buggers got into my van...perhaps magic? yes...yes...that's what we'll go with if my husband asks! it's amazing how those darn chickens can open a car door

So today my hen "Big Bertha" won Reserve of Breed!! There was only one other exhibitor there and 9 speckleds shown. I got a lot of good information from the judge...very interesting to see the similarities and differences between a rabbit show and a poultry show. Pictures coming soon!

Getting excited here! I have my birds banded and pollorum tested for the show this saturday here in Michigan! I plan on bringing the birds that are going to the show into my garage on friday morning and getting them ready to go. I think that'll give me plenty of time to clean up thier feet...

Those silver chicks are adorable! I would LOVE to get some eggs...but can't convince my husband that it's ok to spend $20 on 1 egg. Silvers can't be shown an APA shows right? Or are they able to be shown but can't compete past their variety?
