Ok, first to the OP, please don't breed your WC roo. His comb is waaaaaay too big. Polish should have little to no comb. Check the standard for that. Your "self black" roo has gold leakage and isn't worthy of breeding because of it. The leakage will come through on offspring. I can't tell much about your girl, but she doesn't look horrible. Your five toed bird looks to be a Houdan and could possibly be mixed with something.

Also, I forgot to mention their age: They about 3 1/2 months.

Here's my white/black splash girl: What does she bring the hen house? Good, bad and the ugly...I can take it...I'm a sponge right now, teach me!

Here's my Silver Laced, bearded girl, I know here lacing is poor although some have said she may lace better after her first molt. The color is improving as she matures: What do you think? What would improve her lacing? Only another silver laced? Or one of my other boys, black or wcb? Or do I need another roo?

Here's another Silver laced. She does have a beard but I think she's black crested: Their crests dried funny after last weeks rain...they'd don't stay in the coop when it rains and I don't blow dry!

This is the WCB that was in the picture with the mixed roo: This is from behind, critique on his physique?

OK last one...for now.....This is the same roo as above but from the front. I think he has a really nice crest, not so big comb or wattles as the one with the big V comb. (I have one more WCB that may be a blue but he's always running away when I try to take his picture because I've been spraying his head with medicine after I made the mistake of thinking I could just let them free range with the rest of my flock after being penned for 3 weeks....Bid Daddy didn't think they should be out....poor Buster agrees now)

Thanks everyone, this information is SO appreciated!

Wow this thread grew FAST before I even noticed it

As stated previously, doesn't matter if a bird is a WCB, it should not have a large comb on a male. The required is a V comb, yes, but the smaller the better.
