I was puzzled at first because the link took me straight to page 4! I wondered what happened to pages 1- 3.
Then I saw the other page links near the bottom of the page and started over with page 1! It made a lot more sense, and I saw that there was a page 5 too.

I liked your supply list and how you talked about what worked and what didn't. I thought that saving the wood from the windows being cut out to use as hurricane shutters was a great idea!

I enjoyed seeing what you did to make your coop. I am not sure what you mean when you wrote "mouse over picture". When I hovered my mouse over the pictures, nothing happened. Also in the last picture, I am not sure what exactly I am looking at.

There should be a verbal description of what you did to modify the play house, in case others want to try to replicate what you did.

Do the chickens have access to the upper part of the playhouse? Or did you just enclose the space under the playhouse to become the chicken coop?

I liked your article and your coop. I enjoyed how you walked with us through your process and thinking as you made your coop. I also, liked how you came back and reflected on what worked and what needs to be changed/modified.

Wow!! That is a really cool, modern looking coop! The pictures are very interesting. I don't think there is enough detail about the actual building of it if someone were to want to try to replicate your coop.

I love all of the pictures! Your son did a great job! I'm envious that you have a water source right there at your coop! I think that looks like an automatic waterer inside the coop. It looks like it is down real close to the sand floor. Are the chickens kicking sand into it? Is it staying clean?

I like the supply list. If your son could have sketched out the design after he was finished that would help anyone that wants to try to recreate his design. Also, a pros and cons section would be nice so we could see what you liked and what you would have changed if you were to do it all again.

Thanks for posting your coop

I like that you provided a list of supplies, however, I don't know how/where they all were used. Most of them I can figure out, but some I don't have any idea. Great pictures.

I like that you gave the number of chickens you planned to house and that you gave a " what you would change" summary.

A sketch or blueprint would be helpful.

It looks like you made a fabulous coop!
I think it would be hard for me to recreate it easily without a blueprint/sketch or something. Your commentary would help, but I would still need to try to count how many 2x4's you used and then try to figure out how far apart you put them and that sort of thing.

How many chickens do you house in there?

I like that you told us about things that you changed while you were constructing it.

Nice coop. The pictures give some detail/idea of how to recreate it, as does some of your commentary.
To make it better I would add a sketch of the layout (even if you had to create the sketch after the fact). Include a supply list, how many 2 x 4's, how many 2 x 4 holders and that type of thing.
A pros and cons summary would also be helpful, as wood information about how many chickens it houses.

Your coop looks very well constructed and I am sure it has provided your chickens with a safe and secure housing environment!

You did an excellent job with your narrative and the pictures as well. I like how you gave it a review yourself, as far as what you liked and what you would change.

Fabulous job!!
