Oh, no! You made me want to see this coop so bad but there are no photos. I love how affordable it was and would really like to see how secure and comfortable it looks for a few chickens or some grow outs.

From the title, I was skeptical that this would really look like a ranch coop, but it does! It also looks really secure and not too complex to build which I appreciate. I did take off one star for the ventilation issue. In my opinion there should be another screen in the coop to allow for some crossflow. It may get a little chilly where you live, but nothing a nice feathery chicken can't handle. Nice job!

Very nice! Is this coop moveable? What does it look like inside? Does the plywood hold up well through the changing seasons? I like the exterior design and am curious for more details. I'm also a little worried that raccoons or other predators might break through the chicken wire, but hopefully they only visit at night when the chickens are secure inside.

This type of design looks useful for corners and smaller yards. More photos of the building process and information about the supplies and tools needed would be helpful for someone trying to build something similar.

Funny that you got the chicks and then had to hustle to finish the coop so they'd have someplace to live. It turned out great and looks very sturdy.

I think your pattern is brilliant and was hoping you'd share it. I've just started eggs in my incuview so I still have time to try making one before hatch.

How inspiring! Are you happy with the square bottomed pond now and can you tell us more about how the ducks help with pest control?

Well done, its heartwarming to hear how you rescued this hen and helped her find a place in a new flock.
