I've always been a bit squeamish about the thought of processing but after I worked up my nerve, I read the article and it was interesting! If I ever work up a LOT of nerve, I might have to try some meat chickens and then I can use this article as a guide.
It looks like a very nice coop but there isn't anything in the article to explain how it was built, dimensions, approximate cost. A photo of the interior would have been nice to see also.
For having no building experience, your father did a good job building a coop for you. It would have been nice to have some additional details such as dimensions, approximate cost, etc.
