i have six chicks one named nugget farts whenever i take her out of the brooder
strange ! is this normal ? shes fine otherwise shes one week old .

When I first got my Silkies they had some pretty gaseous poos. I think it all came from the stress of being shipped and the new food. But today, one of my EE roos had a farty poo...

My Silkie sharted and while I thought it was hilarious, I wasn't sure if it was ok. Apparently it's fine!

I too have had experiences with gaseous chickens. I adopted a silkie hen whom I named Walter (after the children's book series, Walter the Farting Dog) because of her...ah...proficiency for playing the butt tuba.
