Glad things are OK, the crotch checks are the worst, they hurt more than anything....

Yeah....the contractions were pretty horrible...they were 4-6 minutes apart, 40-60 seconds long and "coupling" which meant there was no break in-between.

The round ligaments are basically big rubber bands that hold everything together. They can hurt as they stretch out to accommodate your growing belly. You feel the pain more when you're moving suddenly or too quickly. It's kind of a sharp pinch that doesn't last more than a second or two.

I feel for you, I had contractions for 3 weeks before Luke came, and several bouts of painful ones 2-3 minutes apart that would send us to the hospital after several hours of them, only to be sent home because it was still Pre-Labor. I would be hunched over on furniture moaning through them, but it was still pre labor.

It really sucks right now but it will be over soon. Did those succulents make it ok? I also have a little surprise that I'm putting in the mail tomorrow. Hopefully it'll brighten your spirits even if it's only for a short while!

Yeah - stabbing can be felt, too. Right now mine is just pinching, but I'm early on. I got stuck on the toilet around 5 months pregnant with DD for a good half hour because it was too painful to stand up. Yeouch.

RFF - so sorry you had to go through that! Hope you start feeling better soon. I've had contractions for 2-3 weeks now, some painful, some just uncomfortable, but I didn't have ANYTHING like you're describing. I've heard that dehydration can make them worse, so that may explain it? Drink lots of water and feel better ASAP!!

Spring Chickens - I've heard of this somewhere now that you've mentioned it. Had no idea that it really worked though! Thank you! I will certainly have to give it a try if they decide to come back with such intensity as they had before, hopefully, they won't

GFF & Rilly -

We're all in a row! I'm trying to convince her that if she wants to come early, Halloween will be our compromise. And if she wants to come late, 11/11/11 will be ours going that way!

Whether or not she pays any attention is a whole different story

Quail - I agree with everyone else, great looking party! And I love the 'Camo Princess' outfit! DH and I have picked out a camo and pink outfit for baby girl to wear home from the hospital
smile.png
We were looking for some camo overalls, but I haven't found any that are any smaller than three months

RFF - Glad everything is alright with you now! Aside from the random bouts of pain
hmm.png

And the round ligiment pain - I would LOVE for mine to be some little pinch! I have to go with GFF though, mine are pretty brutal. To the point of I don't have the choice to but stop what I'm doing... gives me that achey feeling just thinking about it

OKAY, so - had my 3D ultrasound this past Saturday!

Parents were so excited when we pulled up! She's still a she, and boy was she a.c.t.i.v.e! Luckily, she calmed down closer to the end so the tech was able to get some pictures without having to chase her

Finally got some new clothes over the tax free weekend! A good assortment of shorts, a few capris, and a skirt - really was in need for some clothes for work! And my mom found a really great outfit too - talk about excited - I finally have maternity jeans!!! And absolutely love them! She said it was a little bit of a chore finding in XS, but soooo worth it! Going to look on ebay and whatnot today to see if I can find more now that I know what size is a good one! Finally got my spackling done in the nursery and her bathroom. Plan on sanding, cleaning and taping this week so *maybe* I can convince myself to paint this weekend while DH is working on Saturday! Also, scrubbed the chicken/duck coop from top to bottom this weekend. It was so nice and pretty... for a few minutes at least, until they got back to playing in it
