My shower is today!

I still feel like my house could be cleaner - but I guess I'll suffer through it. No one cleans like I do - in my mind anyway lol

Potassium is recommended for leg cramps (aka bananas). You need to be consistent about eating them though as it is for maintenance & not stopping them once they start. I just had a foot cramp last week. Ugh! It was aweful. I was driving and had to pull over to wait it out.

Rff, hrmm. I was given the advice to make sure you speak up & tell the 'helpers' how they can help- cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. If you need baby bonding time, tell them & head into your room with the bundle.

Hope the premie & mom are doing ok. 33wk fares pretty well for the new baby.

We flew out yesterday morning & are now in the warm & humid midwest. Thank goodness it's not in the 90's & beyond while we're here or I'd be an unhappy girl. Even so, it's to the point that you are just sticky walking outside… Since we're visiting fam, I have a shower tomorrow with my fam. When we go to CA, we're meeting up with most of DH's fam.

Oh, and we've made it to the third tri!! 27wk as of yesterday. Excited but also a little scared to go into another 'uncomfortable' tri. I was pretty happy being in the 2nd trimester. It was very uncpmfortable sleeping without my massive array of pillows to support me last night.

Last night my hubby and I decided to drive to the beach for some fresh seafood. We ate and then went down to Myrtle Beach since we were about 20 mins away and he wanted to go to the Bass Pro. By the time I got there, I had excruciating round ligament pain. I thought walking around the Bass Pro would help, but it made it worse. Every movement, every bump in the road was torture. Everything else was fine - no contractions that I could tell, no bleeding, etc. Today I'm sore, but ok. Whew, that was an experience.

I'll have my 36 week ultrasound on Monday morning.. The last one before finally getting to see her in person!! COME ON MONDAY!!!

Hope MrsK's ultrasound surprise for her parents goes perfectly!!

Quail: I'll bet no one pays attention to how clean, or not, your house is. If they do, then they have issues that you can't worry about.

Pitter: Glad your trip is going well, enjoy your shower!

Spring: I have no advice for house guests. I would go into hiding I'm pretty sure. I've never been able to deal with a house full of people. Even if I am at someone else's house.

Green: Know what you mean about the pain.. It hits me like a ton of bricks at times and then I can barely walk without whining about it. It seems to be the absolute worst when I get out of bed in the mornings.. I have to scoot out of bed and then I walk very slowly until I get all loosened up enough that it doesn't hurt.

My DD has gone all out for this shower. She's decorated the livingroom, DH went down and picked up the food for her, and my parents are supposed to be on their way

with the cake. I actually thought they'd be here already.

There's a few last minute things she needs to do, but I think she's done a great job so far!

Daddy even helped her hang a huge wall mural that says It's A Girl!

Shower doesn't start until 3!
