Expectant parent club! Where the pregnant people hang out.

Looks like it was a great party.. Can you find out where she found that camo princess outfit? That's just too cute.
Waiting for more party pics....

Yes, the time around Valentine's Day was a very *ahem* active time for a handful of us.

The shower looked like great fun! I went to a cousin's shower yesterday as well - she's also having a girl. So, I got to preview my own shower.

Yes, the shower was fun!

Not sure where my mom found the camo outfit, but it's Mossy Oak if that helps? She said it was a hunting store - so I'll ask her next time we chat.

I think the only things I have left to get for baby girl is the crib bedding, a health kit (the ones that have clippers, etc), carseat/travel system (2 friends at the shower gave us $25 gift cards towards the travel system I want!), and a couple infant gowns. Other than that, I do think we have everything she's going to need!

Not to say there aren't still a few things I want....lol

That does help. I only have 1 actual hunting store in my area, and that's Gander Mountain. Other than that we have an Academy Outdoors and Dick's Sporting Goods.. One of these places may have something similar.

Just a quick update...

I started having contractions (REAL ones) Friday night...I stuck it out until about 6am yesterday and had DH take me to the hospital. Of course, my doctor was out of town!

They hooked me up to monitors and I was on IV's and stuck in there from 8am until 5:30 last night. I got FOUR bags of fluid. I was really dehydrated. Four bags and I peed like 5 times--just a tiny amount. Due to my non-existent veins, it took two nurses four attempts to get a vein that wouldn't "pop" as soon as they stuck in the needle.

So I had stab wounds on both hands & wrists.

I dilated to 2cm and then nothing. A few of the contractions were so strong, I started throwing up. So they gave me anti-nausea medicine and about 3pm another medicine to stop the contractions--which did nothing so they gave me a larger dose of the same stuff about 5pm in the IV. They will not do a c-section before 39 unless it's medically necessary for me or the baby or unless I'm in "active labor" and 4+cm dilated.

So I am home now and ordered to drink only clear liquids and I only can get very small, light things--dry toast for example. They don't want me to have a full stomach in case I go into "real" labor and go through the c-section.

I'm pretty much on bed rest.

I missed the wedding last night--yes--the timing was not good. I did leave the tags on my dress so I can get my money back though.

The baby was hooked up monitors too and she seemed oblivious to the pain & suffering I was going through. Her heartbeat was good and was very active the entire time.

I have my 38 week appointment tomorrow....so we'll see. After all I went through yesterday, I'm hoping that we make it to the 16th I don't want to go through those contractions & constant crotch-checks again.

quick question, and I hope someone is here who can answer it - what's round ligament pains? Maybe dumb, but I honestly don't know.

All day today I've had pain located inner thighs on both legs - and a couple sharp pains in my hooha area.

Anyone else experience that?

You'd think being it's my sixth pregnancy I'd know what it is, right? but never had this with the other pregnancies.

I see my Dr. tomorrow at 2...kinda worried I'm gonna get a lecture over my sprain!
