ok i hatched some chicks in my incubator and would love to be able to sex them so i dont know the mothers breeds because they are mixed breeds but the father was a barred plymouth rock
ok so my birds are about 2 1/2 years old and im in need of more eggs and i have also started to hatch eggs in my incubator but would like to start breeding pure bred chickens so i will get more money on chicks but anyways what is a profitable breed and also what do i do with my other chickens...
ok so its now day 23 and i have 6 out of 9 eggs hatched but 2 are peeping out and one nothing yet the membrane seems to be beginning to dry out and refuse to leave it die what do i do HELP!
ok so they should hatch today let me know and if they dont hatch by day 24 then you can crack one open on a plate and if the embryo is kinda breathing for a few seconds then dies you will know to leave them let me know
un fortunatly you can not do anything for her she will probably walk with a limp for her life if it was like that for too long and you should not leave live chicks in the incubator for over 1 day move her to a brooder soon to dry or she might get sick.
yes aslong as that egg didnt really touch them and you removed it ASAP the other eggs will be just fine as long as they are fertile What day are you on.
ok so i probably have 500$ at the bear minimum for just my coop and run + for my incubator and feed incubator 80.00 feed 22.50 a week so i have already like 700 into everything not including what i paid for my dual purpose hens. but any ways i have a spare coop that i can put pairs in at a time...

ok so i candled my eggs last night and out of 14 eggs 2 were probably infertile as when i candled them there was no movement or veigns so i cracked them open and sure enough nothing! but 1 of my eggs had a red ring like 1 continous veign and no spider veigns and i dont think there was an embryo...
