I don't know about ducks. This is my first year having them but years ago I had geese and they loved the snow. They ran and played in it. It reminded me of watching kids play on a slip and slide. Do you have a heated coop? This time of year is iffy. They won't be fully feathered by the time the cold hits and won't have very much size to them. But as long as you have heat in the coop should be okay.- jdk77

My daughters have named most of ours too!! The first one looks like a cinnamon queen. I have a couple of those too. The most friendly birds I have ever had. Will literally jump in our laps or even on a shoulder on occasion.- jdk77
