    Really? right before Easter... how long will this last???

    I have 15 hens, and for the last 2 weeks have been getting 0-2 eggs a day. Is this because they are molting? How long will this last? :(

    I don't know what is getting mine. Whatever it is doesn't eat the entire thing, most of the chicken is still there when I find her. The stomach is ripped open and the neck is mangled..... If anyone knows what would be the culprit, I would love to know....

    I was allowing my chickens to roam free during the day, and last week I found 2 nests where they had been laying.. I do have a rooster.. I collected the eggs, and would like to be able to eat them. How do I know if they are edible without cracking them open????

    I recently got rid of my rooster and my 9 hens seem fine, however I am only getting 3-4 eggs a day. My mother-in-law says its because I have no rooster so they won't lay now. I have been told you don't need a rooster for the hens to lay. Anyone know???

    How picky are you with your eggs?

    How long to wait

    I was thinking of incubating some eggs, and was wondering how long do I leave them on the counter before putting them in the incubator.
