Hi,I would like to join the May hatch a long.I have 58 eggs set and are due May 5th.Just a barnyard mix,some from my hens and 2 dozen from another farm.I candled a couple white eggs last night and I could see the eye and veins' So exciting!! I'm going to try and get a picture of one tonight :)...

Back at it again,I got the itch so I called my cousin and asked if she would like me to try again for her.So she collected 31 eggs from her girls.3 are banties and the rest are from her heritage birds.I had some of hers in last months' hatch but they didn't take,so keeping my fingers crossed!

20 chicks!!! There are still 7 not hatched and two are trying to right now I can't believe it!! I'm a pretty happy mama right now! lol 19 are out of the incubator and are warm and cozy in their new pad.One just hatched a few minutes ago. I have learned so much from this hatch and this thread...

Good morning,I'm pretty happy right now,I have 10 sweet little chicks and more will hopefully hatch today.All 4 buff orpingtons hatched and six of my own barnyard mix. Here's a picture I took this morning.Once they are done I'll get some better pictures.

There is a plug on the side but I don't have anything that would even reach the containers.It's a cabinet incubator,I expect you could hook up a bucket and run a tube to them.I opened it up and did them as fast as I could and everything is back to normal,only took a couple minutes.So hopefully...

I have pips! I went from thinking none were going to hatch to 6 pips! Now my water is getting low......what do I do,I have to add more? Today is hatch day,so this is 4 days.

Day 20 and not much going on.I've only seen movement in 3 out of 28 eggs.This is so hard! lol I want them to start rolling!! lol

I have 28 in lock down as of 5PM May 2,I have one wiggler. I sure hope things pick up,I'm getting a bit crossed eyed! lol
