They are humungous! They are really sweet and friendly and lay double yolks but they tend to crack eggs if they get in the habit.

They are very easy to handle, very calm and are good layers.

RIRs are a very good laying breed and I would highly recommend them for eggs. They can also be mean to the other chickens.
