    I hatched out 13 BLRW chicks about 2-3 weeks ago, one died and that left me with 12 now. Yesterday or the day before, I noticed that one of them has a single comb... I thought they are suppose to have rose combs? Does this mean that my chick is a rooster?!? I have no idea what is going...

    thanks for this info, im about to move from rural olympia to lacey :( anyways... I was wondering about this, and need to take my chickens. I was surprised to find I could have a rooster. My neighbors would be very mad, so I wont, but didnt know.
