I have quite a few roosters and have not had a problem with them bloodying the hens... In fact when a roo goes for another roos hen, they chase them away before anything happens. I have a very happy flock even having a large number of roos.
Your black roo looks like a cross between a buttercup and an americana, and if that is the case, it would explain where the gray/blue/black legs are coming from. Maybe passed down from grandparent stock?
It isnt Ideals fault. They dont deliver the mail. I have gotten every order through the mail from Ideal and they do everything in their power to make things right. They even replace or refund your order even though it is the POST OFFICES fault.
I am so sorry too. Words just dont do much good at this point. Im sick inside. Maybe the person who caused this should go without food and water for a while. Bless the little souls of those babies and all of the others that need a safe ride home. I second the for the post office. I know there...
