Thank you for your response. I have a Welsummer who is about a year and a half now who is usually a quite timid and shy chicken. Last year she went through a period of time where we couldn’t wear one specific set of flip flops because it set her off and she would charge us and peck our feet. It...
The blue egg on top is from my Splash Ameracauna from My Pet Chicken, and the egg directly under that one is from our Easter Egger. Both of these eggs are still on the smaller side because Pig and Frida just started laying. Also, my Ameracauna Pig has the best personality ever. She is so lovely...
It’s funny because my daughter named her Chicken Little on day 1 because she was the only one that would cry for no reason, and lo and behold she’s our runt!
My BCM grew just like this! She was 1/3 the size of her flock mates and I was so concerned she wouldn’t make it, but I just kept hoping she was just a runt. Sure enough she finally started growing around 7 weeks!!
The bottom picture was Chicken Little (aptly named) at 6 weeks and the top was...

Here’s a couple pictures of Frida, the first is a few days old, the other is her almost two weeks old.
I can’t wait to see what color yours end up! I just love the countless variations of color on EE!
My babies are nine weeks old this week. It’s getting harder and harder to snap their weekly pictures now! They grow up so fast.

I would love a list of something similar to scratch and peck but in a pellet or crumble. My chickens waste so much, most of it just goes all over and I’m having to buy more too often. Any help is much appreciated!
Thank you! My daughter chose the name Buckbeak, I believe it’s a Hipogriph from Harry Potter. And I just really wanted to name one of my chickens Pig
My babies will be 8 weeks old tomorrow and I wanted to share their recent pictures. I know how much I love peeping everyone’s growing babes!
This is Poppy our Swedish Flower Hen. She is seriously the sweetest! What a breed.
This is Zelda our Olive Egger.
This is Rumi our Favaucana...
