Good to know! It is just SO different from the other 3 that are definitely female! Also, he is very into the chest bumping the other chicks...I noticed that today and yesterday when he was doing this that his neck feathers stood straight out. I have only seen this white my other rooster...never...
Your chick is more striped than mine, and from the pictures id say female. The patterning seems much more consistent on your chick. I have two that are very similar to that one and they are very much female. I also heard, and would love to know if it's true, that the eyeliner is more consistent...
Good morning!! Pretty sure I've got a rooster here...I go back and forth from 100% positive that it is to not so sure. So what do you guys think?? 6 weeks old...
Hi everyone! I just wanted to drop back in and let those who weighed in know the results of my Cleo...it took a very long time for me to know for sure whether she was going to be a hen or a roo, but I know for sure finally!! She had a lot of us guessing for a long time, but she is definitely a...
I think that tail feather is ready to fall off.
I am very confident that it is a girl now. :)
She is very unique!
Thank you guys!!! I am going to keep my hopes up!! You have made me confident about hoping for a female!!! She is almost rumpless, just the few tail feathers, and maybe that is...
Thank you! I agree, but I am just stumped I guess. I feel like I am just going to have to wait until "something happens" to make me able to discern. I am guessing hen by behavior mostly, followed by the lack of comb, but she's a puzzler!
Yes, the more time that goes by, the more the reddish color spreads. It is all over her formerly pure white chest now. Thanks so much for the input, I will keep it updated when I figure it all out!
Yeah, the comb!! Mine has nothing almost! I am perplexed. I can only assume by her body shape and behavior mixed with everything else, I have a girl, although I won't hold my breath until I get an egg or a crow :-/
I have looked for the pointy feathers and I really don't see any...behavior is same as my other females. I have another rooster who acts so very different from the females, but this one does everything the other girls do. This one really has me stumped!!
Yes, I am very sure. I have had her since march 29 and she was two days old. I can try to get some more full body shots of her to upload to see if it will help. Thanks!!

We have a hen (We are positive lol) that has some curled tail feathers.. She is a Black Sex link pullet.
I don't see any pointy saddle feathers, I can't tell with the hackle feathers because of the pattern.

No pointy saddle feathers coming in yet...hackle feathers appear pointed but...
Hello!! I've got a toughie on my hands. Any time that I ask, I get about 50/50 on the sex of my EE. Lately I am almost certain I have a roo on my hands, ONLY by the tail feathers. The behavior is definitely not roo-ish, at 15 weeks hardly any comb, no crowing. She does have the "red" patches...
