...broccoli and drain. Place broccoli in bottom of buttered dish. Break chicken up into bite sized pieces and layer over broccoli. Mix soup, mayonnaise (or Miracle Whip) and optional curry powder. Pour mixture over chicken. Top with cheese and bake on 350* for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Here is my new coop that I bought in Kentucky...thanks to sugarbush! I love the coop. It's just what I was looking for.
Here is the inside of the coop and the new roost I put in.
My name is Glenda and I live in Indiana. I have pretty much been a hoosier my whole life....minus the 11 years I lived in Illinois. Since I was a child I had a love for animals, but I never thought I would ever raise chickens. In June my daughter was allowed to bring home two chicks from a...
I only have 3 chickens, so my list isn't too long.
1. Let them out of the coop, unless they already pushed the door open
2. Check water and feeder
3. Rinse waterer and refill
4. Fill feeder (usually twice a week)
5. They go into the coop at night on their own. I do a head count and shut the...

hello to you too!
I rehomed this poor guy to the Amish man who built my coop. He was getting picked on and lost his tail feathers, plus his legs splotchy and not completely black and my daughter wants to raise show chickens.

"When I was your age..." (I've said this already and I'm only 36)
"You're bored? Read a book" (Said this one too)
"You are deliberately disobeying me!" (I think I said this once...it annoyed me then and now. Lol)
"For Pete's sake!" (My mom still says this, and we still don't know who Pete is).
We bought 4 blue Ameraucana chicks in April and 3 of them were male They are 16 weeks old now and I just found 2 of the cockerels a home, finally. So, now we are down to one cockerel and one pullet. On Friday, we'll be picking up 2 black pullets. Here is one pic of the cockerel...
Thanks, I don't know what I'm gonna do with these guys. I actually contacted a breeder from the Ameraucana website to get a couple pullets. He sells blues and blacks and is about 30 minutes east. I'm planning on picking up a couple next week. If you want his email address I can send it to you.
