I use a couple of tablespoons of acv in large waterer. Mine is a cut it half 5 litre plastic container. I keep it in there all the time. Just make sure you don't put it in a metal container.

Cows are not treated that way here. I have worked on a dairy farm and know alot of farmers. They have acres and acres of land to roam in and are only brought in for milking then let back out into the paddocks. You would buy milk and support dairy owners if you knew how much work they do...
Nicce painting guinea and glad everyone is safe from the bushfires. Think we all need some rain .. Never thought i would say that again after the floods but we have had next to no rain since.

Ok I'll do my best to answer. I have never had an isa brown go broody and I have had them for years. There really is no way to make any particular breed go broody. Some are extreemly broody and some not. My bantams are so broody it's not funny. Even broody hens will get up from the nest...

Glad all is going well MA noob. My hens have finally started to pick up on the laying as well. I have lost a few older isa browns over winter but we have had extreemly cold winter here this year and I am so looking forward to summer. In fact I am counting down the days. I just need to convince...
He's a nice looking drake Ducky. Glad he found a new home. It is sad when you have to sell your favourites. Wooklet we have to do up our spare roo's too and it's never fun. In saying that hubby does the deed and i pluck etc. If i had to do the deed they would be here for ever. I like your idea...
We have had a very wet weekend here but thankfully that has kept the overnight tempreatures a little warmer than they have been. I do not know what is going on with my animals this year. I have 2 bantam frizzles that are about to hatch nests of hidden eggs and yesterday went to the muscovey pen...

Yes i was, we were right smack bang in the middle of it all. Luckily for me we live on the side of the hill so our house was not flooded but we were stuck in our acerage for over a week. Our little town like so many here went under so we had no fuel or ways to buy food for nearly 2...
