ya petty sure when you clean them off and put em in the fridge that stops everything. i never notice anything different about my chicken eggs and i got two roosters
ive tried sprint. at&t, and verizon. the verizon has definately had the best coverage, especially in rural areas where the other two dont work at all. i think verizons overpriced, but they get service
I just bought my house about 6 months ago and there is a big (12x20) metal shed out back. Well it was just too tempting. I built a wall inside the shed to make a 12x15 coop and still leave me 5' up front to store feed and stuff like that. Then i put a 5x20 run up made out of a 5x10 dog kennell...
ya i just found out the other day that my female jrt might be great with the chickens but my male isnt. he had my big rooster on the ground before i knew what happened. didnt hurt my roo, but doesnt look like im gonna be able to let my jrt male roam the yard
if you really want the best brown egg layer id say go with RIR's. I like sex links. Ive had alot of red, black, and gold comets but none of them have laid as consistantly as the RIR's. Grew up in pa and theyd lay right through winter up there

Thanks! was curious about that! I mean im not raising them as "show" birds but i do want real RIR's. Ive raised hatchery RIR's for years and i guess until recently didnt realise there was anything different. I saw the heritage RIR post on here though and i dont remember any of mine ever...
u know i read the same thing about the rir's after buying 25 chicks off mt. healthy. the ones i bought were listed as rhode island reds and they had a seperate breed listed as "production reds". Some people are saying if your ordering from hatcheries its the same bird. im kinda confused as to...
ive always fed mine what is more or less hog feed. its crushed corn and soybean. i feed that year round and they do great. well and ofcourse i mix some crushed oyster schells and grit in it myself
ya first time ive used them so im not real expierenced with them, but this time went great. i checked alot of hatcheries though and most including cackle were sold out for the year. i was kinda in the same boat. waited till late in the year to order some new chicks but really wanted some. ive...
i just got 25 from mthealthy.com its a hachery in ohio. Mail ordered them to the post office here in Tn and they all arived very healthy. had them for a week and a half now and all doing great. Plus there shipping was ALOT cheaper than murray mcmurray. hope that helps!
id put some kind of antibiotic like neosporin on it and she'll probably be fine, but your gonna have to keep her seperate from the roosters and posibly rehome one of them or continue to keep them seperate. hope that helps
jack russells are great arent they?! ive got two right now. ive always kept jrt's around cause theyre so good for killing pests around the property! had one years ago that would follow me to the chicken coop every time and while i was feeding shed hunt any rats out and never bothered my chickens...

the only thing democrats seem to get accomplished is a growning number of americans on public assistance and a socialist heath care system. personally im getting tired of paying for everyone else. however i do agree with the fact that jobs are what we need and im honestly not sure...
i personally think theyre all crooked regardless of party, but i work in the oil industry so if i had to pick id say republican. i know alot of people hate the party for the same reason, but its job security for me
