Blue shell - neat!

Water Bottles
Just wondering - Do any of you use water bottles? I use a good ol' rabbit bottle and it works out really well. I ask only because I haven't heard mention of others doing it and I worry ( too much, I know) that there's a reason not to that I'm just not aware of........? Thanks! -

Is it true about roos...
I just want to double check my understanding. Ratio of roos to hens is based on hens being overbred and roos fighting. 1 to 4 or 5 would be okay if the males ( in my case 2 cockerals and a roo) get along and the hens are treated well by the boys - right? Chicken math got me today!!

Color biased mating?
My roo is Pharoah. My 2 roux dilute, 2 Pharoah and golden girl all have "hairdo's" and rumpled backs. The 3 white and Tibetan girl look totally untouched. Really just kidding about the color bias...but he does seem to be only selectively mating some of his girls? Does this indicate something... -
