Today would have been a day of celebration for our beloved friend Sally (Ranchhand). I know she is missed greatly here, as well as in the hearts of those who loved her. So, from me to you Sally, Happy Birthday, I miss you.

I just heard on the news that a restaurant in Pennsylvania is banning children under the age of 6 from their establishment. All I can say is , I wish more places would do that.
Last night my DH and I went out for a quiet meal at a sit down restaurant. It was anything but quiet! People allow...
back to Kentucky!
This winter has been so brutal on me, I think I can stand the unbearable humidity.
Montana is a wonderful state but I am not sure if working outside at -40F is any worse then +95 with 200% humidity in Kentucky.
Decisions decisions....
Has anyone ever purchased travel insurance from the airlines? We are purchasing airline tickets for overseas, and I have never thought about the insure before now, but since it is scheduled so far in advance, should I get it?
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Is it worth it?
Just wondering if anyone here has experience with this auction site, good or bad?
I have read some reviews, but would like to know that the folks giving the reviews are real people....so I will ask my BYC friends!

I have two roo's and 20 hens, Drumstick is the nicest, most considerate roo....then there is LeRoy. LeRoy is Mister dominate, he has pecked and pecked my hens to the point of blood...(his is schedualed for the pot of chicken and dumplings this weekend).
As I am watching from the house...
What can I use on my hens for open sores caused by a soon to be dinner, ROO?
We use blue lotion on the horses, can I use this on my hens?
I have the hens isolated from the roo, but the sores look pretty bad, so I know I should probably apply something. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
