    Quackers and peepers advice??

Ok I have been trying to figure out the sex of my 8 ducks for 2 weeks. They are all 7 weeks old. I have 3 for sure loud "quackers" so I know they are the girls. The other 5 just "peep" not a raspy deep sound just a baby duck peep. Are they just not old enough yet or are my "peepers" boys????

How to Make a Water Wiggler! **Pics**

This is so simple and it works great! You will need: 3 sandwich size ziploc bags 2 rubberbands or hairties First fill a ziploc bag about 1/4 with water. Then zip it closed and try to get all the air out. Then for spill safety put it in another bag. If you have OCD (like me) Put those...

    Karma works on foxes!!

Ok I have been trying to get rid of the same fox for a year now. I live in a pretty tight rural area with neighbors and houses and farm animals everywhere which makes shooting a fox really hard! I bought a bigger live trap yesterday and had it set up last night. I was disappointed when I...

    Calibrated hydrometer crazy results!

So I let my 2 thermometer/hydrometers "dry" out on the counter for 24 hours and then I did the salt test on them. What causes a sticky chick?

Ok I have hatched a few great batches and I am not an expert but I am confused on one thing. What causes a sticky chick? I mean one that hatches fine but seems to have the matted down hair look and looks wet even though they are dry. I did some research and found this from the "sticky post"...
