    Egg Eater!!!

    I caught one of my hens chi wing down on an egg this morning! I'm so bummed cause she lays pretty green eggs! I'm not sure if I should wait it out and hope she stops or just make her dinner :-( I knew someone was eating them but I was really hopping that it was an older hen....

    Does size matter?

    I have 3 10 week old chicks in my outside coop, they have been doing great! I also have 3 5 week old chicks in the house...     Strange foot thing...

    My hen has feet mites and I was taking care of that today and found this on the bottom of her foot... Any idea on how or what to do? It doesn't seem to hurt her...

    Roo or hen??

    I have a Barred rock that I was pretty sure it was a hen but the last week or so she has been climbing on the other hens like a roo. Is this action part of the pecking order or could she be a he? Has anyone ever experienced this with their girls? (I will post pics of her tail and legs tomorrow)

    Our little ones!!

    Rooter.... He's a Dirty bird!

    So my 2 rooters are only "courting" 3 out of my 10 hens.... Do they tend to pick favorits or is the hens more fertile? I feel bad for those 3, they can barely leave the roost without getting attacked!
