i was blanketed with 8 inches of snow this week. and im expecting 4-6 more thursday night into friday morning. i havent been to school all this week. im quite happy about that.
way one of my favorite things to do after a fresh snow is go out and see what has been walking out and about through...

this is just for fun but the first week of january i am getting cochins,(standard & banties).
this will be the first time i am getting a standard cochin rooster.
i was wondering if you could give me some pictures of "full grown" standard cochin roosters.
and also how is there temperment. are...
i know silkies dont. but im not sure about cochins. ive never seen them but maybe there so fluffy u cant see them. not sure. dumb question i know but just curious.
been wondering for a while. wondering if there really was a difference and if so does anybody have any pics. say a standard next to a giant or something... thanks.

im going to be getting some ducks sometime very soon. once i get my coop up and running. its going to be for my cochins...or so my grandma and grandpa think. hahaha. no im just kidding ill ask first. but could you please post pics of your ducks,swimming,or out running around in the yard? thanks...
ok. i am making a cochin coop in the spring.its going to be made out of wood pallets. there will be indoor and outdoor pens. the outdoor pens with have wire buried very far into the ground so now predators will dig under to get to them and it will also have wire over the top so now flying...
my step dad brought home some wood pallets from his work and i asked if i could make a coop out of them. he said yes and that he would bring about 5-6 home a day.
the only problem is i dont know how i would go about doing this?

i know hes a frizzle... i was kinda thinking frizzle white rock. but hes probably a mutt. anyway he died a few years ago and i was going through some pictures and found him and ive always wondered what he was?
i saw someone was trying to make this color and thought i would try. i cant remember who the person was but it was posted months ago. i figured i would give it a try because i know there is buff,silver,and gold not blue. that would be something.
