Hey BYC!
If anyone remembers me, I miss talking to you all!
I have a chicken who recently broke her leg, and through consulting a local vet there is nothing I can do about her leg except for let her rest.
My problem is that today when I was checking on her I saw some little bugs on her...
Yes, I'll be leaving BYC again. I don't know how long I'll be gone, but it should be around 3-4 months until I'm back.
Thank you for all the information and fun y'all have given to me over this time. I am really going to miss all of you
God Bless y'all,
Matthew
I've been researching them with the goal to one day get a few. Most of the things I've read seem positive, but I know there has to be some negatives. So, please post why I should not get a ferret.
Thanks!

Hello.
If I had, for example, three pairs of Silkies. Could I safely keep the three roos and the three hens together without fighting?
Thank you!
Matthew
(with several Silkies)
I picked her up for $15 dollars at a farm show and named her Arya. I'm pretty sure she's not a real Serama, or at least not full blooded. I don't know her weight but it's under a pound.
Thanks.
Matthew

Thanks!
Matthew
I had some chickens free ranging in an area of our property. One was down there one day and never came back. Neither did the chickens ever go to that area again.
So, do chickens learn from past mistakes of others?
Matthew

Hello again
As you know, I worry a lot about Reagan, my roo Here is another question:
We keep geese with our chickens to alert us about predators! It works really well and they have certainly saved some of our chickens but when we don't let them out for long periods they get mean to the...
Hello,
