Source for a solids compatablie pump for duck pond...
Anyone have any links to or reviews of or have a good pump for use in a duck pond? I am ok with a physical pre-filter to stop items like large feathers, but I need a low wattage, decent head pump that will not plug readily. Any recommendations? Thanks! -
first eggs arriving!

How old were your runners when they started quacking?
How about Cayuga? How old were they? Out of my 8 (2 swedish, 1 cayuga, 5 runners) - one of them (a black, so a runner or a cayuga) seems to be shifting in tone, can almost hear a quacking noise starting, although its very faint. They are only 2 weeks old today. -
dosing antibiotics to ducklings - ?
Some questions: 1- Are antibiotics (specifically, Penicillin G or sulfa drugs) available at feed stores without a prescription (fairly certain Pen is at least)? 2- Anyone know the proper amount to include in feed or water? Best I can find is for treating turkeys, they state 2.2mg/kg of food... -

Does anyone use vitamins for their ducklings? If so, where do you get them from and what brands/products? Metzer has a small bag for sale that makes over 100 gallons, so that would last a while, but I was curious if others have a good source. Thanks, -
Where do you find your coop floor materials?
