Insides gone out of two hens in two days. There were a lot of feathers laying around and the bodies were in the back part of their wooded pen. The heads were intact. One foot gone and one wing gone. Heart and bladder(i think) still there, but all bowels and stomach gone!

I have looked on the chicken treat chart and it doesnt say that the green part of the rind is ok....just want to make sure before I feed it to them. Does anyone know?

I have a trio of faverolles and three EE hens. My husband says let what ever hatch that is under our frequent EE broody (next time she decides to go broody). I am feeling guilty for mixing the breeds. The eggs from the EEs are much bigger than the faverolles. I am in this for the eggs but...
i am new and have not let one of my hens raise some babies but plan to in the spring...some of my eggs are round toped and some are pointy....is there a difference in which eggs i should pick when it comes time to leave some under my hen? i know this might sound dumb so go easy on me...LOL

some of my eggs, after i break them, are comming out with the yoke kinda runny or some times the yoke is modeled(different colors in waves) looking....what does that mean and are they still safe to eat? thanks for any help....cathy
I just had to post this picture of the egg I found after this hen had not layed in 3 days...it was 3 inches long and I am dieing to crack it to see if it is a triple yoker...yall may have seen one like this but I am new to this and was in total amazement
