I have 8 of these guy I hatched myself about 8 weeks ago. Right now, there are 2 distinct differences in them. Some have larger, redder combs and also upright, more developed tails. The other group have lighter combs and much smaller tails...Is this a good indication of sex or are they all...
I was all prepared to put the eegs in lockdown today and when I candled them, a number appeared to be still quite "liquidy"...they are moving around but they look more like day 15-16 eggs. I have left them in the incubator on the egg turner for a couple of more days...does this seem right?

I saw an add for more eggs at 5 bucks a dozen close to here...so I ordered 2 dozen more...picking them up tomorrow!

I thought the same about my last 3...I have 15! This morning I looked in and I see that 2 more have pipped...late bloomers I guess!

I bought this exact one for my first incubator last month. It has worked perfectly. The only suggestion I would make is to get a good thermometer and hygrometer as the one that is installed is not accurate.

So far, non of the blue Americanus eggs are out...but one has pipped.
