So far, they act like they are supposed to be there. They don't bother them at all. There are 7 running around with them now. One chicken was determined that one of them was its mama. It followed her everywhere. She wasn't phased. The broody hen is still sitting.
We went on vacation and had someone else tending the animals. There was a miscommunication, and the eggs were left. When we got home, we had a broody quail setting. I left her alone because the eggs were already developing. Can I leave them in the pen with the rest of them? They are in a 4x10...
13-14 chickens and 2 roosters
3 black sex links
2 production reds
2 barred rocks
3 silver laced wyandottes
1 blue/buff mixed orp
2 welsummers
2 welsummer roosters
think that is all. Might be two slw's. I don't count them very often lol. They move around too quickly.
I don't have time for my chickens anymore. They are really beginning to be neglected. I have an assortment. There are a few of each of silver laced wyandottes, welsummers, production reds, black sex links, mixed orpington (just one),and barred rocks. There are 13 or 14 I think plus two very...
Ok, I know this has been mentioned before but evidently it needs mentioning again. If your dr. is worried about your baby's position at 20 some odd weeks then your dr. is an idiot and you need to swap drs. Most babies are nowhere near position yet. I don't know of any dr. that would be...
You look familiar. I think I know some bumpkins. Are you related to the Hicks? They are cousins to the Rednecks? I have heard though that the offspring of bumpkins are super intelligent, beautiful specimens. That is what I have heard anyway.....
Anybody ever bought from them and what was their experience? How about the quality of the chicks?
Their prices seem great plus they have a good variety.
Thanks!
Are you sure it wasn't a two legged bandit? We had a plum tree that the exact same thing happened to. It has never happened again and only happened while we were at church. I still don't know how they got all the way to the top of the tree to strip it like that but nothing else was capable of...
Mine is not propane. It is electric and I LOVE it! It holds a lot and because it is electric it holds the temp completely steady. We have smoked ribs, pork loins, pork chops, turkeys, roasts etc etc. Ours is a brinkman and they sell it at Academy Sports and Lowe's. Home Depot carries it I think...
I have two welsummer roos and only need one. They are very pretty and just getting to the mating age. So far there has been no aggressive behavior at all. My six year old is in and out of the pen a lot and no problems whatsoever. They are supposed to be from the Kelly something or other line...
Now, I know i posted on this thread that I am in Northeast LA. Can anybody see me??? Bayouchica is in Northeast LA, too. There are a few of us. You just have to look around a little.
I am sooooo disappointed in MissPrissy.
The title should not have been tp stealer. The little sister was VERY specific and out of respect for her and her righteous outrage at her sister, the title should have been "TP stealing DOODOO head"
