Looks to be about five days to a week old. Gender is probably male, judging by its comb. It's comb is already growing and slightly red in color. Once the neck feathers come in, check to see if they are round or pointed. Pointed: rooster - round: hen (usually). Hope I helped :plbb

It does have the ragged feathers like a frizzle cross. Or maybe it is lazy and doesn't want to clean its feathers. It doesn't however look like a Polish. More like a golden comet cross.

You might need a different incubator. Do you already have eggs in it or no? If you want a somewhat cheap and stable incubator, there is a video on youtube that is helpful. The title is "how to build a $20 incubator" or something.

The poor thing :barnie I think you could also try putting sugar in the water in place of the electrolytes. Was there anything dead or moldy feed anywhere near the pen or area where she roams? Does she wheeze? :rolleyes:
