i will admit, i did not research beforehand, but since i got velvet and her (hopefully) sisters, i’ve done quite the research on absolutely EVERYTHING.

she flaps her wings quite a lot while the others dont as much as her, she attempts to crow? i think.
and her coloring is just much more roo like, help?

her housing is still inside, shes only a week old and its still pretty cold where i live, she eats like normal but this crop is at all times, her behavior she’s pretty flighty, very jumpy and talkative, and she doesnt seem too lethargic

back but with, less happy news.
the other 2 chicks are okay healthy and happy but velvet has a concerning looking crop.
im very scared she might have a swollen crop.
but in cuter news, whenever i hold her she just flops into my hand and falls asleep

my parents are the type who cant say no if i bother them about it, i apologize if it looked “suspicious” but you gotta know, my parents give in after 4-5 tries and...
hi, my parents stay up quite late so i was able to finally convince them by telling them what happens to chicks if they dont have flock mates, they finally felt bad and said yes.
sorry to burst your bubble here but she is doing amazing, flock mates coming tomorrow and, i personally think i’m doing amazing, i plan on raising more chicks after these new ones grow up and get into a coop:)
hi, u might know me as the girl who has one chick, i have an amazing update.
we’re getting her flock mates!!!! after a lot of begging, my father gave in!! (he also absolutely loves velvet now :) )
so expect to see more little chickies running around on my account soon <3
