    It's really hot here in Houston as well, but not as hot as other parts of the state. Being close to the Gulf has it's good points at times. We get lots of breeze to keep the temps a little lower than they could be. The girls are hot, but with the shade and wind they are doing OK. Hope everyone...

    Before you post asking what breed or gender, read this!

    Thank you for the tips. I have always had trouble trying to figure out what sex the young chicks were. I would usually just wait until the crowing started to distinguish them apart. Hopefully this will help me figure it out sooner!
