My silkie black hen is hatching out her eggs, I'm soo excited I cant wait to see them, not going to disturb her now, any advice or is mama going to take care of everything. I of course have all the proper feed and such and a plush nesting box any extra info would be great thanks

They are HATCHINGG!! one so far Im going to leave her be and let her take control, Is there anything I should do?( Besides the normal proper feed/water/heat) she is in a nesting box about 1 1/2 high is that ok or will the babys fall out?

Ok so my little black silkie has been sitting on 3 eggs, she has 2 days till her hatch date. every other day I check and clean her nesting box, well I noticed two days ago that the underbelly feathers were missing and just thought it was from her sitting in one spot for along time, well today...

you mean put the eggs in my bra and sleep with them?? because I will lol, no I would be to afraid I would brake them

it was only for a short time and it was a nice warm day so only about 4 to 5 hrs in temps about 65 outside maybe a bit warmer in the nesting box, I have them in the house under a heat lamp I will turn them Thur the night and get a proper set up tomorrow I hope they have on at Tractor Supply...
