Hello everyone, been a very long time since I've done more than read a few posts and man I had a LOT to go through. Needless to say I mostly skimmed. I am very interested in the Poulin Feed topic though. Are you all using a specific formula? I'd love to talk about it some! Marquisella - did...

When I got there, it isn't even warm still - is it unusual for a hen to sing that long after laying, or should I be checking the yard for a secret layer? To my knowledge I have one BCM laying, she just started...

Rancher, another possibility for some of the tires, not for the use you mentioned tho, is a trick my husband wants to try. Thanks Stony and all for the thoughts, too many pages back to quote or anything. Has anyone had hens that square off with a roo? Was just a little posturing, face to face getting tall, and a half hearted kick, then over, just thought it was interesting...

Stony, as a new discoverer of just how many breeds of chickens there are, & having a curious nature, I'd like to ask (about having to go outside - do you feel this would apply to all breeds (assuming they aren't some tropical thing) and situations? I ask because I wonder if the game bird types...
