@Alaskan yepp, the wee man is fine. Actually he is growing at the top of the growth charts, he's been in the 95th percentile... I have been reassured many many times that the things that went wrong are so rare on their own already that chances are we'll have a normal birth with the next one...

Via emergency csection @Alaskan too many things went wrong during labor that the obgyn that was brought in recommend a csection. Our little one came out just in time that we got to avoid the nicu with him.

That doesn't even cover bad hatch rates from the ducks and the fact that the raccoons killed the survivors when they where big enough to join the flock... Just a bad year... Ugh

Beercan, duck egg business started off good, got lots of eggs per day and then my numbers dwindled mid summer. Stupid ravens were stealing left right and centre... We battled until the ducks went into molt and they haven't laid since. Didn't help then that we recently had a family of raccoons...
