Excited to start sprouting.. when all the work outside is done and they can't forage too much more free-ranging.. sprouting here I come.... good idea on getting spilt barley... My dad knows some barley farmers... I'm going to ask him about getting the spilt grain...

Sloshing them around helps aerate the water, too and makes sure you're giving them a good rinse and getting the starches out, so slosh away!!

We have water stuff like that all the time here... on a low year, the people whose water rights pre-date others start saying they need all their shares and the other people say, but we need some water, too and then sometimes it goes to court, etc, etc... pawtraitart lives in the same water...

Okay, that is RUDE!!! It snowed yesterday, too!! I need some more sunshine to get some more stuff done, I'm not ready to lock myself up inside yet, lol!

With the snow falling outside, I was wishing I had my fodder going, but I haven't buttoned up the other fall stuff, yet, so they're still eating some of the garden left-overs.... BUT, I did get some meal-worm starter today for my own meal-worm farm, so that should be helpful, also...

I have those garden flat trays, but still wondering how I keep the wheat in them.... is it ok to loine the bottom with plastic that hs some holes poked in it for drainage??
