I have moved on to telling dh " oh those are going to the butcher in the fall"....
I have a trio of white. They are only a few months old. LOVE them so far. Do you like them for meat or eggs? I have not had either yet....
Lol My mini is open in A few days .... uh oh....
I'm not sure I needed such a good photo like that. Haha I wonder how long I can control myself from trying it out.myself?
I don't so much.mind the tray cleaning but the fluff in the fan?!? What a pain. The fan is exposed in The hovobater but the brinsea is under a screwed cover. Booo
The 1588 is soooo much easier to clean than my brinsea after hatching.... then you can by naughty and s t ager hatches . Sounds like that may already be in your scene. Lol
Just a word of encouragement.... I've aways had good results getting a brinsea up to temp in two hours and another hour if fine tuning was needed. Maybe they won't need to be double stacked too long...good luck!
Cali web site is fairly wordy . I did see MANY classifications depending on size and purpose of flocks . Also it caught my eye that it is a voluntary not mandatory program .
Om, your avatar! My husband will feel like someone took a secret photo of him eating breakfast when I show this to him in the morning!
Mad busy! Extra coop , new quail pens , trenching a power line to the chic yard, new olandsk flock in quarantine, bator going, and snow on Monday!
Hmmm... Maybe it's cl OD and croad for me. I read they were used to make marans and barnies. My barnies were sweet but to many flaws in their lines and no one close enough to work with. Maybe this would be a smarter more fun way to go.
