He was parked right next to me. He actually did sell one of them to a couple that was looking for a large rooster. He bought some rabbits too. He told me he takes them directly to someone who processes them.
He actually is a nice enought guy and I believe he makes it clear where the birds...
I had a blast! Sold all 13 of my chickens and spent every dime on either soap, syrup, whoopie pies, an awesome candle, seeds and then scratch and feed at the TSC. My husband might have even enjoyed himself.
Thank you!
And I hope everyone who bought my chickens enjoys them!
3 chicks can easily be incorporated into a flock. Just tuck them into your pockets or purse and no one will be the wiser.
You should see what I do to hide the boxes form the shipped eggs I receive in the mail from my husband. I get caught about 50% of the time but its the 50% I get away with...
I'll be bringing a couple silkies, but probably just two roos - one black and one blue. As for the Brahmas, their keepers. I'm hoping to breed them. I have one roo and three young hens. Their not laying yet but should be over the summer.
I'm still waiting for someone to say their bringing a...
I have four light brahmas and trust me, you'll love them. They're the most social, calm and softest feathered of my chickens. The remind me of puppies. Go for it Chickn!
Gotta love those fertile eggs. I actually have some brahmas that may hatch in time for the swap. And hopefully a standard cochin but the fertility wasn't as good as I would have liked.
Not all are mixed. I have a few black copper maran chicks. 6 hatched out of 7 eggs - AWESOME! I may bring two of them. And I do have some others hatching next Friday but I don't remember what they are just yet.
If I beg my husband appropriately I should be able to come w/ chicks in hand - varying ages. But no silkies. Maybe silkie mixes since my partridge silkie roo is a randy little fella.
I'm with eaglesnest, thank you from me as well for managing this event. I had fun. Found homes for four roosters, bought applejack peel soap from Cheep and a chicken cookie and came home with $4 in my pocket.
I missed all the fun chickens though. My husband made me promise that I couldn't go...
I've a beautiful BBR araucana rooster w/ a partial tail that I'll be bringing. He's amazing to look at. A couple of silkies and a salmon faverolle.
My mille fleur hen is not doing very well, anyone bringing any?

Hi Othala,
My blue roo has a single comb but excellent feet. The other roo is even younger and the comb is just starting. Actually I believe the 2nd roo is from eggs I hatched from Golden Egg Farm.
