San, do you mean the finger in the photo???? Silly you, indeed!
it is a finger... gosh yesterday evening I really could not see that whas a finger, I really thought it was a swelling on the upper side of the leg.... even not when I resized the picture.
But my Roo never had this...
Sorry my mistake didn't meant the spur but more above that bumpy thing without feathers? Don't know the right english word for it sorry. edit found the word silly me it's swelling instead of bumpy
I copied your pic hope that makes it clear what I mean .
that's where the redness start from...

the leg and foot feel regular and we don't see this on the others in the group.
What's that bumpything on it's leg? That looks à bit red also does the other side have a bump also? It is always difficult to tell just by watching a picture but mite was the first thing that came up.
Thanks.
About the redness, looks like some kind of mite infection in the paws, they tend to get that red..but the only way to find that out would be a skinscrape..
Does de paw feel warm or just regular?

Sorry for the misinfo everyone and a GREAT BIG special thanks to tls_ranch for catching and correcting it over in the Barnevelder thread! Thank you again Trisha....I always manage to get it mixed up.
Happy choocks could you get a photo of hem?
It is right >gosh I said the other way...
Sorry for the late answer I was working, but it's like Pinkchick said:
Girls creamy to white chests and the boys grayish to braun taupe colored.
Here's a pic from my last years Barnies B/F, you can't see the chest color unfortunately. But both are pullets.
Just for my own knowledge, if it's a pullet it mostly means an eyeliner, no eyeliner and a fuzzy mark means cockerel. And what does de V mark mean then?
I do know how to sex barnevelders by the chest color.
