After setting three different batches of eggs, I've managed to hatch all cockerals. I'm taking a break from the breed for a bit and have three cockerals to rehome. They all hatched from brown eggs. The oldest - pictured - is about 18 weeks. the other two are just under a week old and 14 weeks...
Good point. Hatcheries - even specialty ones like GFF, are larger operations, so I tend to lump them together. When I see a hatchery that describes eggs as tinted, I assume they could be any color. I agree that individual breeder probably follow the guidelines listed in the link, but...

I'm concerned though, the female (who was in the normal egg) seems to be having problems moving one of...
I candled again today, at day 16 and both Rhodebar eggs are alive and kicking! Starting to get my hopes up that they'll both hatch. Hoping for a pair is probably a stretch, so I'm just hoping for two chicks.
I candled them again this morning, and both have movement! I was concerned about one because I think it had a meat-spot when I got it, a small dark floaty spot. It's been interesting, the spot has been pushed to the edge, and a small "pocket" was built around it. It looks like a small...
