Congrats to all who won something!
I hope someone says something to the people who run the show--that's HORRIBLE to put on the paperwork that the awards ceremony is 10 and then do it early! They could have at least posted a sign on the door or something.
I actually brought my camera, a studio light and everything and was ready to take some posed shots or at least some shots of some of the birds in the show... Paperwork said award show started at 10am, I got there at 9:30 and everything was in a frenzy and everyone was packing up. Completely...
Hmmmm, wondering if I should bring my photo light set up and a simple background for some photos tomorrow.....
I can't print on location, but I can maybe offer a small sitting fee of like $10, of which you'd get a $10 credit to use in prints in my online gallery when I post the photos? Does...
I left the fairgrounds about 3pm. Vickie when did you come by? I figured you would have been there FIRST thing this morning!
So are they selling only outside or is there another, warmer area? And I'm serious, Vickie, save me a spot for my little table! : >
Vickie, save me a spot with you! I was told we weren't selling on Friday, only Saturday and possibly Sunday?
I'll be bathing in the morning and heading that way.
Thanks Sunshine!
I have some chicks I need to sell. But my real concern is dealing with roosters over night since I will be staying in LC Sat. night. I can't exactly put them in the hotel! I'm hoping I sell them BEFORE Sat. night, but you never know!
Also, I may be interested in VERY light...
I have two roos I need to sell. I didn't think about showing them and selling them that way. Dangit. I wonder if I call in if they'll let me add them to the roster?!
Question, I was wanting to take some birds to sell and will need to stay at a hotel. The hotel is not going to be happy about having a rooster crowing inside...any suggestions?
BTW, everyone should get the book Pocketful of Poultry. Hubby took his book to the last show and it was great for learning all kinds of info about each type of bird and it fit in his pocket!
